Yes, she’s back and we haven’t heard much about it. The Queen of Soul has made it after some tumultuous personal time due to some recovering from surgery. A 12-track collection titled A Woman Falling Out of Love, which features an eclectic mix of ballads, gospel, and blues-infused, and even some urban hip-hop. Most of them written and produced by her. She actually gives it all on the opening track How Long I’ve Waited when she acts over an operatic statement. She assumes the blues when it comes to U Can’t See Me and praises the Lord on Faithful, followed by Karen Clark-Sheard; and recovers the late 1970´s classic The Way We Were with a jazzy tune.
